You Are Beautiful – Exhibition 02

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL is the second installment of visual exhibition series presented by YYO Foundation. This is an exhibition where young creative talents; 12 artists of which are participating from 11 different countries; aged between 25-32. By combining the contemporary with elements of fashion culture, they explore and delve into their own unique aesthetic and personality through multi-formats, including; fashion photography, fashion film, performance art and electronic music-It gives a new meaning & dimension to the idea of beauty.

YYO Foundation 呈现第二季青年影像艺术展 YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, 这是一个年轻新锐影像创作者的群展，参与的12位艺术家来自11个不同国家和地区，年龄在25岁-32岁之间，他们结合当代时装设计的现状，以时装摄影、时装影像、行为艺术以及电子音乐等艺术形式，用自己独特的个性和审美，对美的标准提出新的意义。

Being a newcomer, Dong Yu is a photographer and Illustrator. At first glance his work gives a clean and simplistic impression. Through deeper exploration, his work revolves around bright colours, a keen sharp sense of style, simple but thoughtful compositions. These techniques reveal his young, curious, qualities.

王冬雨作为一名新人摄影师，插画师，简单、白净是他给人的第 一感觉，但他的作品却有着艳丽 的色彩，犀利的画风，简洁的构图，这些无处不透露着他年轻， 古怪，有想法的特质。

Cutting edge photographer Issac Lam, from Hong Kong, uses a combination of both cold and warm tones alongside unique compositions. This combined creates an atmosphere of where the psychedelic and the reality meet. Issac specialises in capturing the often overlooked body language, and the close-up view of each character to express their views. Youthful impulsiveness allows him to be creative, especially in the exploration of his own psychedelic style.

新锐摄影师 ISSAC LAM 来自香港。冷暖色调的交叉使用、独特的构图都使他的作品风格在迷幻与现实中游走。ISSAC 擅长于通过捕捉镜头前人物的特写和肢体语言来表达自己的看法，年轻的冲劲让他勇于创新，在摸索中形成了自己的迷幻 STYLE.

As a female photographer originating from Russia, Lina manages to capture her unique and delicate perspectives through the camera. Moments of fleeting beauty, feelings, thoughts and emotions, all pass through her lens and continue to leave their mark.

来自俄罗斯乌法，作为一名女性摄影师透过她独特而细腻的视角，捕捉人物美好的时刻，感受， 想法和情绪，使之停留在镜头中并永恒地保留。

Rodney Ye is a young Australian fashion photographer who travels between China and Australia. Growing up in the inner city suburbs of Sydney, his fresh, and energetic take on fashion combined with a raw aesthetic and natural use of light makes him popular amongst young fashion directors/stylists and digital publications. He often takes a surrealist approach whilst shooting; this technique enhances the colours and creates an unforgettable experience.

Rodney Ye是来自于澳大利亚。在拍摄工作中，娴熟的运用他超现实主义的拍摄手法，使绚丽的色彩静止在画框中，成为一抹让人无法忘记的色彩。

Samuel Croskery hails from a remote and pristine area of New Zealand. His strong gravitation towards photography is due to a fascination with diverse beauty, physical form and fashion. He quickly became obsessed with certain philosophies of photography and is part of a current-wave generation of image makers that believe in a new authenticity. His images reflect spontaneous moments of rawness, realism and minimalism. The simplified and stripped back approach rejects the over-produced sterile images that are all too homogenous and serotyped and are directive to a vision of individuality, an aesthetic of “anti-glamour”. Drawing inspiration from his love of music and art he injects a soulful ‘
imperfectness’ into his image making.

Even from an early age, Pasha, from Ukraine, has shown his strong talents in video shooting and production. As an advocate for the young, beaming personalities, it has become synonymous with him as a video Director. His work embodies high levels of visual effects and his unique perspective to his fashion work is filled with a strong sense of personal style, each bringing his work to life.

来自乌克兰的PASHA从小就表现出视频拍摄制作的天赋。年轻、个性、有主张成为了他作为视频导演的代名词，奇幻的视觉效果与他独特的拍摄视角使他的时尚作品充满强烈的个人风格，每一次都会带来让人惊叹的作品。

Arousing emotions, evoking forgotten memories, or galvanising visions to freely interpret; Arice lets the viewers wander into alternative worlds through his eyes. His work rejects any kind of labels, and it recasts personal experiences and perceptions by using 3D graphics. He believes that computer graphics are just a medium, for a wider purpose: streaming visions able to astonish and leave an emotional imprint. His background includes a variety of experiences within CG. His interests in fashion, photography, coding, music and design inform his unique visual perspective.

澎湃的情绪唤起了已被忘却的记忆，蠢蠢欲动的视野在不由自主中被诠释；Arice 让观众以自己的目光在无形变换的世界中徘徊。 他拒绝自己的作品被贴上任何标签，从而以3D图像的形式重铸了个人经历及感受。他相信电子图像只是一种方式，然而更重要的意义是在于让自己的视野能烙印在人们的脑海而又有情感上的冲击力。在他过去的背景里，他以电子图像的形式表达了多种多样的感受。 他以自身在时装，摄影， 编码， 音乐和设计方面的兴趣爱好上，从而也谕知了他独特的视野和想法。

Being Half North American and half Spanish by nationality, Chloé Wallace is a young, brilliant and fresh director. With a keen understanding of fashion she creates stylised and well polished films every time. People are all inspired by her powerful messages about female empowerment and art. Her strong background in music also accompanies her talents in becoming a devoted filmmaker.

身为新锐有才的90后电影导演Chloe Wallace，从小受到美国和西班牙的文化熏陶， 造就了她对时装的独厚见解，她创作了时髦而又充满魅力的电影。人们都被她关于对女权与艺术的话题所感染。 她对音乐有着与生俱来的敏锐度加上自己的天赋纵使她致力于在电影行业的发展。

Tobias Pichler is a Tyrolean director based in Vienna. With his sensibility in casting, mood and visuals he creates stylised and colourful imagery. A commitment to portray realistic settings juxtaposed with joy-filled cinematic moments is what defines his visual language. In his work, he seeks to play with the viewers anticipation and especially enjoys leaving space for the audience’s imagination.

2017年, YYO Foundation与SCF学院课程合作,推出为期五周的时尚摄影(Fashion & Photography)课程。YYO团队导师利用灵活的教学方式为SCF 学生们带来系列教学的时尚摄影指导,鼓励学生们勇敢创作,将时尚和艺术的态度注入课程核心,为学生们提供了一个敢想、敢做的时尚创意平台。

SHAPES was created specifically for Shanghai Fashion Week to bring people back to the basic shape of the human body. The two artists wore simple a white t-shirt, shorts, and performed barefoot inside a nude-colored fabric in contrast to the stylish clothing and attitude of the fashion world.

《轮廓》这件作品特意为上海时装周的大背景下创作的。
Shanghai Fashion Week，每个人个性轮廓感浓度很高的时间段里，艺术家Jared和爱丽诗身着最简单的白Tee和短裤，光着脚在肉色的布圈里完成了行为艺术与现在舞的实验作品《轮廓》（当然，艺术家本身的意志是裸体表现最好，大家懂的。）《轮廓》试图想对形形色色中的每一个独立自我的本我诉述出人类基本轮廓的更多可能性。我，你和我们。

什么能描绘出我们的轮廓？衣着？身材？年龄？财产？社交网络？亦或是情感关系？

SONOS | YYO Foundation – Playlist Potluck Dinner，邀请出席 You Are Beautiful的所有新锐视觉艺术家一同享受 XIXI Bistro 喜喜小馆中西合并的创意料理。Potluck这个字源于美国，主人邀请亲朋好友带着他们拿手好菜来家里分享，Sharing is caring的聚会形式。
SONOS的Playlist Potluck Dinner，咱们带的不是菜肴而是音乐。YYO邀请的艺术家，每人准备3首歌曲，这个Playlist会随机播放，凡是听到自己的音乐的人都会格外兴奋的述说着音乐和他/她的故事。
